FOR SALE. Classic Thompson Bros. Seacoaster 15′ wooden boat. Beautiful classic wooden boat with oak lapstrake hull and mohagany rail and deck. Equipped with a vintage 1960 40 hp Evinrude “Big Twin” outboard. This boat was made in Cortland, NY, back when craftsmanship was king! These boats are becoming very collectible and are considered a “poor man’s Chris-Craft”. Chris-Craft actually bought the company in 1962. These boats handle great and really turn heads on the water. Big enough for the Finger Lakes, small enough for the canal. This boat can be used as is, or would make a simple restoration project (paint and varnish). It has an older canvas cover (not shown), and I just installed a new keyed ignition switch and horn botton.
Also included is a “like new” 2000 Load Rite trailer with ~500 miles on it. Ready to roll anywhere. Both boat and trailer have current NY registrations and clean titles. I am also including (3) vintage Evinrude and Johnson fuel tanks, a Polaron aluminum cooler, and a vintage deckmounted spotlight. Currently in storage. I can deliver within 50 miles of Churchville, NY.
