I have a 14ft well constructed wooden boat built by Isham. I bought it about a year ago and spent weeks sanding and repainting the interior. This boat is 100% wood but is in very solid condition despite its age.
Boat Specs: 14ft long and seats 4 comfortably (built in wood seats). I painted the interior but never got around to the exterior although it doesn’t look to bad. After painting the interior I took off the windshield and some of the external parts like the anchor guard and tie downs so I could paint the outside but didn’t get around to it and it’s been covered by a tarp since.
Trailer Specs: Minimal rust, pivots in the middle for easy loading, very sturdy. Wheels are in great shape and come with bearing buddies. I also re-wired the trailer and rigged new lights.
The motor : 1967 18hp Evinrude outboard. It ran a little rough when I bought it. I took it to a certified mechanic and had the whole thing checked out. The carb was rebuilt and the lower end had some work done. It’s been stored properly and always starts on the first couple pulls. I also have the original Evinrude forward controls hooked up, and 2 very clean metal 5gal. gas tanks. The motor is missing a choke but a wire works fine. Other accessories include: 3 fishing pole holders (already mounted), 2 PFD through pads, and 2 PFD life jackets. I installed a 12v power outlet but I would like keep the marine battery. I want to finish fixing up this boat and keep it but, I’m a college student with no place to keep it so unfortunately it’s got to go. I have the title and current registration. I am willing to sell motor separate for $450 but the boat and the trailer stay together $400. No Trades, unless it’s motorcycle.
